Dr. Walsh graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wofford College in 1996 with
a BS in Biology before going on the the Medical University of South
Carolina where he finished in 2000. He completed his residency in Family
Medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2003 where he received
additional training in upper and lower GI endoscopy.
He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr.
Walsh's medical interests include preventive cardiology, upper and lower
GI endoscopy, critical care, sports medicine and pediatric/ adolescent
medicine.
Dr. Walsh and his wife Megan have been married for seven years. They
have two children, Gray (3 years old) and Jack (born 2/28/06). His hobbies
include running, Clemson University sports and spending time with his
family.
